Carved “Mini” Wooden Animals
YPC has now been marketing wooden animal MINIS for the past 10 years. We started with five animals initially and year after year have built up to the current total of 110 individual animals. The range covers Wild, Farm, Domestic and Australian animals with some Birds. Product listing attached.
During this time we have been selling these MINIS as a small sub product group to our main business which was originally Balinese handicrafts, and has evolved into Australian Woodcrafts through our site at Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne. (Operating 5 days per week) This site on Queen Street operates under the business names Melbourne Breadboard Co and Woodcrafts Australia.
The concept has been remarkably successful with sales of MINIs for the latest financial year of $63,000. This also includes a four day attendance at Farmworld, Warragul, Victoria with sales of $4,535. In October we will be attending Elmore Field Days in Central Victoria, However Field Days and Local Shows offer opportunities for others to market “Minis”.
